MSCA - Personalizations

Personalizations do not require any coding skills.

They can be used to accommodate changing business needs without much involvement of tech members.

Steps to Enable Personalization on MSCA-

Lets take an example of PO receipt page.

1. Make the Line Number as Mandatory

2. Make the LPN field as Mandatory

3. Change the label of the Locator which is To Loc currently as mentioned in the below image-

Lets first set all the profile options needed to be able to do the personalization.

Profile Option Name - MWA: Enable Personalization 

Profile value at User level - Yes

Profile Option Name - MWA: Cache Personalized Metadata

Profile value at User level - No

This personalization Control whether you need to bounce the MWA server before a personalization take effects. its recommended in production instance to improve the performance

RESPONSIBILITY NAME - Whse Mgmt Super User, Vision Operations (USA) 

Navigate to MWA Personalization Framework 

In Mobile page field enter  Mobile PO Receipt Page

Click ON Personalize page

A new page will be displayed as below

Click on the pencil box next to each filed to personalize it

Lets take Po Line number first. Click on The pencil Edit Button

In the last field "Required""  where originally it was NO, we made it Yes. Save your work

Similarly for LPN, Make it as Yes and Apply the changes

Now click on "To Loc" Pencil edit button.

In Prompt, Change the Function as "Locator" which was originally inherit as "To Loc"
Save the changes.
This completes the Personalization
Testing -

Now we do not need to bounce the MWA server for this personalization to take effect as we have set MWA: Cache Personalized Metadata to NO. Lets check the MSCA page

Line Num and LPN  are now mandatory fields

To Loc label is now changed to Locator
